1 Introduction and Overview
The Calc package within the Tribon suite of software is used to perform hydrostatic and Hydrodynamics Calculations upon any floating object modelled in Tribon Surface/Compartment.
Alternatively the hull and compartments can be modelled directly in Calc using offset files or tables of the hydrostatics, stability, critical KG’s and tank calibrations. This guide is intended to instruct new users to Tribon Calc how to set-up a ship ready for the Calculations and then how to perform those Calculations. The final stage is to output the results of the Calculations in the booklet format required by the regulating authorities.
